effectively hide your IP address so that you are not completely exposed
when browsing the Web. It uses a comprehensive network of proxy servers,
to which you can connect. When you connect to one of those proxy
servers, you get a new IP address. You are given the option to choose a
country as well. So, you can pretend you are somewhere different from
wehere you actually are.
The application works extremely well. It hides your IP, and websites can't really tell the difference between your real IP and your fake IP. As far as they are concerned, you are where your fake IP tells those sites you are.
